![]() She said there were others available! OMG, I was so pissed off. The woman that day was shocked that they didn't switch my room. We checked out and the next day when they asked how our stay was, I was honest about everything. At checkout they didn't even bother to reduce my rate or comp us for anything, not even a few bucks off the price. I woke up with a sore throat and terrible back pain. I couldn't open the window past 4 inches either to get fresh air. The whole room was nasty, something you would remember from 20 years ago when smoking was allowed indoors. ![]() Seriously, you're booked at full capacity on a Tuesday night? She said too bad, there was nothing she could do. I explained I reserved a non-smoking room weeks ago. The woman at the front desk said they were completely booked at full capacity and nothing else was available. I immediately went up and told them it stank really bad, like someone was in there minutes before us smoking. When we checked in and went up to our room, it smelled like a smoking lounge! I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. ![]() We reserved a non-smoking room WEEKS in advance for a Tuesday night.
